At just 6 months old, Lucas experienced severe seizures that led to brain damage, affecting his vision. Despite these challenges, he has made incredible strides, learning to sit, walk, talk, and thrive with the support of his family and therapy.
Lucas’s journey is one of resilience, small victories, and unwavering family love. His story inspires everyone who knows him, and his bravery continues to shine through every challenge he faces.
Ashley and Chloe, Lucas's mom, connected over their shared experience of raising children with visual impairments. Their friendship has grown through mutual support, oils, and books, with Lucas’s family being a constant source of encouragement.

Summary
In 2025, we were honored to celebrate Lucas Brave Razon as our Child of the Year.
After experiencing life-threatening seizures at just six months old, Lucas was diagnosed with Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI). Since then, he has undergone countless therapies, surgeries, and medical challenges as he continues to learn and navigate the world around him.
Despite these obstacles, Lucas inspires everyone he meets with his resilience, determination, and joyful spirit. Inspired by his love of Super Mario Bros., we celebrated Lucas throughout the tournament while rallying together to support him and his ʻohana. Together, we also raised awareness and hope for other children and families facing similar journeys.

- 51 teams of three golfers competed in a fun-filled day on the course.
- 45 dedicated volunteers helped make the event a success.

- More than 50 prize donations added excitement throughout the day.
- Over 30 vendors helped create a vibrant and engaging event experience.
- Entertainment included DJ Compose (Composed Sound), emcee Casey Lund, and special performances by Jon Kema and Kapena during our welcome program and after-party.

In 2025 we were honored to make a meaningful donation to HUGS Hawai‘i — an organization that has walked alongside Leigh’s family and countless others through some of life’s most challenging moments. HUGS continues to provide vital support for families across Hawai‘i, and it felt only right to give back and help raise awareness for the incredible work they do every day.
